Women Fighters in the Lithuanian Forests 2025 — Association of Jews of Vilna and vicinity in Israel

On International Women's Day 2025, we gathered at the Beit Vilna  to commemorate the three brave women who fought at the Lithuanian forests. Dr. Miri Freilich spoke about Ruzka Korczak.

Aria Barnea spoke about Hasia Taubes. Hasia's friends added stories about her.

Dina Bauer-Brentzovsky spoke about her mother, Fanya Brentzovsky, and the audience was very moved. Fanya's grandson also spoke about his grandmother.

Memorial plaques were erected in the Yizkor Hall in memory of Fanya Brentzovsky and Hasia Taubes.
