Tribute concert for the winners of the Nechama Lifshitz International Competition in Tel Aviv 2022 — Association of Jews of Vilna and vicinity in Israel

In November 2022, a tribute concert was held for the winners of the Nechama Lifshitz International Vocal  Competition at the Einav Center in Tel Aviv. The concert was sponsored by the Municipality of Tel Aviv and the Association of Jews from Vilnius and the Surrounding in Israel. The winners of the competition from Lithuania and members of the Nechama Lifshitz Workshop for the Artistic Yiddish Song directed by Regina Dricker participated in the evening. 

Rosa Litai, Nechama Lifshitz's daughter and Leli Shemer, Naomi Shemer's daughter told about the special bond that was created between Naomi and Nechama and read from the letters exchanged between the two.

The members of the group who arrived in Israel received hospitality that included tours of Tel Aviv, Yad Vashem and the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
