Committee to erect a monument in memory of the Vilna martyrs who perished in Ponar and other places of extermination Tel Aviv, 7/1/1975
To all Jews from Vilna and Vicinity!
On April 9, 1972, the ashes and bones of the martyrs of Vilna and the vicinity were brought out of Ponar and buried.
To this day, no monument has been erected as yet on the graves of our martyrs.
We are now building it according to the plan of the painter-artist Shmuel Beck, from Vilna.
We are sending you a photo of the monument, with our request.
Building it is a sacred duty of all people from Vilna and Vicinity in Israel and the Diaspora.
Without your participation, the monument will not be erected!
Please send your donation soon...
Dear friends! Only with your help will the monument be erected!
With the blessing of all Vilners,
Dr. Moshe Feigenberg, Chairman of the Committee for the Erection of the Monument
Dr. Mark Dworzecki, Chairman of the Association of Jews from Vilna and Vicinity, Israel
Nathan Bazilian, Chairman of the Beit Vilna Foundation
David Yutan, Chairman of the Committee for the Establishment of Beit Vilna.
