Holocaust Memorial Day Kiryat Shaul 2025 — Association of Jews of Vilna and vicinity in Israel

As every year, we gathered at Kiryat Shaul, near the Vilna memorial, to mark Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Members of the association attended, along with soldiers from the Navy’s Maritime Unit and representatives of the Lithuanian Embassy in Israel.

Mickey delivered remarks, Moshe read the names of prisoners from the ghetto, and Rabbi Shaul Farber recited the El Maleh Rachamim prayer. A representative of the embassy also spoke, and participants lit memorial candles.
