Holocaust Memorial Day Kiryat Shaul 2023 — Association of Jews of Vilna and vicinity in Israel

As every year, we gathered today at the Kiryat Shaul cemetery, to commemorate the memory of our loved ones from Vilna and vicinity that perished in the Holocaust.

As every year, the Lithuanian ambassador to Israel, Mrs. Lina Antevichina and the embassy staff honored us with their presence, as well as officers and soldiers of the Navy's Vessel Engineering Department. Litvaks from all generations listened to the moving speeches and to the prayers by Rabbi Shaul Parber, lit candles in memory of their loved ones, and sang with great hope the Hatikva. We will remember and not forget.
