Holocaust Memorial Day Kiryat Shaul 2022 — Association of Jews of Vilna and vicinity in Israel

In April 2022, we gathered again in Kiryat Shaul to mark Holocaust Remembrance Day. The Holocaust survivors, members of the second generation, arrived and to our delight, members of the third generation (Miriam Goldin's grandchildren) also arrived this year. As in each year, officers from the Navy's Department and the Lithuanian Ambassador to Israel arrived .

Speeches carried by: Mickey and the Lithuanian Ambassador. Hiki Habib read the names of prisoners in the ghetto and excitedly recounted that by chance, the names she mentioned lived in her father's previous home. Noam Shaham Kessel, the granddaughter of Leah Kessel, spoke as a representative of future generations, Shaul Farber delivered the prayer and said Kaddish.
