Abba Kovner – A Nation without a People

On Sunday the 18th of March, 2018 at 6 p.m. an exciting evening was held at Bet Vilna to tell the story of the life of one of the most famous rebels in the period of the Holocaust – the poet Abba Kovner, who was educated at the Tarbut high school in Vilna, was one of the leaders of the underground movement in the ghetto and then in the Rudniki forests.

Mr. Rami Neuderfer, a former top officer in the IDF who now works in hi-tech, is currently writing his doctoral thesis at TA University on the history of the Jewish people, spoke about Abba Kovner's life and work.

The members of the  Nehama Lifshitz Workshop for Yiddish Songs sang songs from Abba Kovner's life – A nation without a people.
