Visit of High School Students 2023 — Association of Jews of Vilna and vicinity in Israel

On Sunday, April 16, 2023, two days before Holocaust Memorial Day, we held a seminar for 12th grade students in Tel Aviv.

The students, under the guidance of Hana Shilo, toured the Beit Vilna on its displays and visited the library and the memorial room.

Moshe Michles told them about the experiences of his parents and siblings in the Holocaust and spoke about the importance of perpetuating the memory of the Holocaust and promoting the building of family memories as early as possible.

Yehuda Mushonov told the story of Abba Kovner in the first person. The students were fascinated by the interesting character and at the end asked many questions.
