A Visit by Students from the Johanna Jabotinsky Youth Village

On the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, 2018, a seminar was held at Vilna House for students of the Atid Youth Village named after Johanna Jabotinsky, a school that absorbs immigrants, nurtures its graduates, and especially lone soldiers. The students visited the memorial room and we talked to them about the goals of Vilna House and the commemoration of the Holocaust. A special lecture was given by Moshe Kamenman, the builder of the model house with a hiding place (melina) inside. Moshe is a cousin of the late Aharon Einat, who together survived thanks to a hiding place, like many children in the Vilna Ghetto.
