The Golden Chain — Association of Jews of Vilna and vicinity in Israel

"The Golden Chain": an exciting evening was held in February, 2018 at the Tzavta theater in Tel Aviv. Professor Noverstern, the director of Bet Shalom Aleichem (with the support of the National Authority for Yiddish Culture), brought the best of Nehama Lifshitz's songs performed by the Workshop for Yiddish Songs, founded by Nehama Lifshitz under the musical direction of Regina Driker. The hall was packed and members of the Association were prominent in the audience; the vocalist, Reut Ben Zeev, and the musician, Zalmen Mlotek from New York, also performed on stage.
