         A Tribute to Israeli Ambassador to Lithuania – Amir Maimon

Even 75 years after the liquidation of the ghettoes with the  Jewish remnant who were imprisoned and survived, we must not forget the generation of  Lithuanians who committed the most dastardly crimes against our nation. However, our generation is obligated to do all that is humanly possible to prevent its recurrence and it is our responsibility to create a different reality in our generation and for future generations. Amir Maimon, Israel's  ambassador to Lithuania, has worked indefatigably towards this end from the moment he took office. He has created the basis for a bridge through joint learning, mutual recognition and reciprocal tolerance. We appreciate and pay tribute to his accomplishments. Yishar koah
