Memorial Day Naval Headquarters 2021 — Association of Jews of Vilna and vicinity in Israel

On Holocaust Day 2021, we were invited, as every year, to the Naval Headquarters in the Kirya in Tel Aviv. Lighting the beacons: Miriam Goldin, Rachel Kowarski, Leah Kessel for the late Tuvia Kessel, Shimon Fine, Misha Schlechtman, Shlomo Reichman and Ita Winograd. After the ceremony, the soldiers of a vessel unit went to the Vilna house, where Hannah Amir, the daughter of Motke Seidel, who was among the cremators in the Ponar forest, presented their story.
