Towns of the Vilna District

Vilna – an international magnet and a spiritual center for the people of the House of Israel.

The towns on the map were selected from the Book of Communities - Poland VIII: Vilna-Bialystok-Novogrudok, Editor: Shmuel Spector published by Yad Vashem.

To this list were added a few towns whose association administrators asked to join the Association of Jews from Vilna and Vicinity in Israel.

According to today's borders, the towns are located in the Lithuania and Belarus territory.

Hundreds of small settlements existed around the towns that made up the center of the district, but it is natural to focus on the main communities, with the small additions requested.
