The Collective Biography of the Partisans – 2025 — Association of Jews of Vilna and vicinity in Israel

In January 2025, we held an event commemorating Baruch Shuv, Chairman of the Partisans’ Organization, and Litman Mor-Moravchik, of blessed memory. Together with their families, we placed memorial plaques in their honor in the Ohel Yizkor (Memorial Tent) at Beit Vilna. Amikam Shuv, Baruch Shuv’s cousin, spoke about Baruch and his immigration to Israel, and Idit, Litman Mor’s daughter, spoke about her father.

We then listened to a fascinating lecture by Professor Dina Porat on the collective biography of the Lithuanian partisans and underground members. The event was attended by many family members and members of the Association, filling the house.
