Farewell to the Lithuanian Ambassador to Israel, July 2019 — Association of Jews of Vilna and vicinity in Israel

In July, 2019, the members of the board of Bet Vilna and the cultural committee got together to farewell the Lithuanian ambassador to Israel, Mr. Edminas Bagdonas at the end of his five year term here.

The ambassador and his wife Yulia were visibly moved at the reception and said how sorry they were to be leaving Israel altogether and Bet Vilna and its members, in particular.

P.S. Mr. Edminas Bagdonas has passed away in Lithuania 2021. R.I.P
